Volunteers Needed

Volunteering in your child's school is a rewarding way to be a part of his or her education. At Leighton there are many ways to be involved, including in the media center.

A volunteer commits to a 3-hour shift once a week or once every other week. During this time, volunteers help students and staff members locate books, complete circulation tasks such as checking books in and out, and reshelving items. Beyond these "library" tasks, there are also opportunities to work on displays, interact with students as they learn about their Chromebooks, and assist in collection development.
