Third Grade Classes
Third grade classes attend Media twice a week every other week for 45 minute sessions. Part of this time is alloted for checking out books as needed, and the remaining time is for the students to develop their technology and research skills.

Talking Zoo
The video below will show you how to give change your doc into a script.
We are creating class zoos! With talking animals!!
Each student has chosen his or her own animal to research, and is picking out facts about that animal that seem to show how the animal is unique from others. They must think about this as though they are the animal...what would the animal want people to know about it?
As we research, we will talk about some important research skills, including using safe search engines and keywords. The two safe search engines we will be using are KidRex and SafeSearchKids. Check them out using the links:
